Why book a trip with TSI Charters?
You can experience a sportfishing adventure with TSI
Charters for a fraction of the cost of ownership. Moreover,
our crew has been fishing on Lake Ontario since 1990 and
we’ll work hard to ensure you and your guests have a
memorable experience. Lastly, as we like everyone to have a
great time, safety is always our top priority.
What is a typical charter like?
Upon greeting you at the dock, we will help stow your gear
and familiarize you with the boat, amenities and safety
equipment. Once we reach the fishing area, we’ll set the
rods and also go through the process of what may happen once
a fish is hooked - so you know what to expect. If you’d
like, you are more than welcome to help out or simply sit
back and relax! Upon returning to the dock, it’s a great
time for photos and we’ll help offload your catch.
Where do we meet and how long will
we be out?
We will meet at the dock at least 15 minutes before our
scheduled departure. This will allow us time to stow your
gear and get acquainted with the boat, amenities, etc.. Our
half-day charters are (6) hours and full-day charters are
(8) hours.
How many anglers can you
accommodate?
We can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 4 persons in a party -
this includes anglers and non-anglers. However, larger
groups are welcome and we can arrange for additional charter
boats if needed.
Is there lodging and restaurant
facilities nearby?
There are numerous hotel and restaurant facilities that are
within walking distance or a short drive of the marina. We
would be happy to assist you in finding accommodations
accordingly.
What other attractions are there in Oswego, NY?
Oswego County offers a variety of attractions, festivals,
historic sites and much more. We recommend you visit the

What about restroom facilities?
The Oswego Marina has very nice restroom facilities
available. While out fishing, the boat has a clean and
private stand-up head below deck for your convenience.
Is there a fish cleaning service
available?
There is a fish cleaning service available at the marina for
a nominal fee.
What is your reservation policy?
Reservations are required as we do book charters in advance
for prime dates. However, feel free to contact us if on
short notice and we will be happy to work with you. A
$100/day deposit, received by TSI Charters, is required to
secure your reservation.
What is your cancellation policy?
The Captain reserves the right to cancel your charter due to
poor weather or mariner conditions, as customer safety and
comfort is a top priority. In that event, we will either
refund your deposit or work with you to reschedule during
the current season.
If you decide to cancel your trip, you must do so 30 days
prior to your reserved date for a full refund of your
deposit.
Do I need a fishing license? Where
can I purchase a NYS fishing license?
A valid NYS fishing license is required. The are several
local stores within a short drive of the marina to purchase
your license or you may do so online at:
NYS DEC. We strongly recommend you purchase your license
in advance so there are no delays at the dock.
