Lake Ontario Fishing Seasons
Lake Ontario is the 14th largest lake in the world and holds several New York State salmon and trout records. With trophy Brown Trout weighing 5 to 15 lbs. and Chinook (king) Salmon weighing 20 to 25 lbs. or more, Lake Ontario is truly a world class fishery.

Lake Ontario Charter Rates
Rates include 1 to 4 persons. Multiple boat charters are available.
4 hour charter - $350
6 hour charter - $450
8 hour charter - $550
*5th or 6th person - $50 each

When you book a charter with us, you can receive reduced rates at the Econo Lodge and Best Western Captain’s Quarters hotels. Both are within a short walk of the marina and overlook the Oswego River. Driving directions from the Syracuse, New York Area:
- Take the NYS thruway (I-90) or I-81 to Rt. 481 North
- Follow Rt. 481 North thru Fulton to Oswego
- Rt. 481 will turn into East 1st Street as you enter Oswego
- At the stop light at the Rt. 104 intersection, turn right
- Go 1 block and turn left at the light on to E 2nd street
- Continue on E 2nd Street to the Oswego Marina
Fishing Charter Policies
Reservations: Reservations are required as we do book charters in advance for prime dates. However, feel free to contact us if on short notice and we will be happy to work with you.
Deposit: A $100/day deposit is to be received within 7 days of booking to secure your reservation. Otherwise, your reservation will be cancelled and your date(s) will be offered to other customers. Upon deposit receipt, you will receive notification that your reservation is confirmed.
Cancellation: The Captain reserves the right to cancel your charter due to poor weather or mariner conditions, as customer safety and comfort is our top priority. In that event, we will refund your deposit or work with you to reschedule during the current season. If you decide to cancel your trip, you must do so 30 days prior to your reserved date for a full refund of your deposit.
Fishing License: A valid New York State fishing license is required. We strongly recommend you purchase your license in advance. Please refer to the following link for additional information: NYS DEC Fishing License
Zero Tolerance: No illegal drugs of any quantity are permitted on board. All violations will be reported to the U.S. Coast Guard and appropriate local authorities.
